Kelly has been a dental hygienist since 2003, she has been part of the South County Smile’s team since 2009. Kelly graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with her associates in Applied Sciences and continued her education and graduated from Rhode Island College with her Bachelors of Sciences in Sociology. Kelly holds her CPR certification since 1995 and her Local Anesthesia license since 2011. Family is what make her smile the most; she and her husband Mike were married in 2004 and their son Zachary was born in 2009. Her most recent addition to the family is a puppy named Chloe. Kelly is a true New England sports fan, and her son Zach keeps her very busy with sports; he is a hockey goalie and plays baseball as well.
Amanda is a dental hygienist who has been with SCS since 2017. She attended RIC and received a Dental Hygiene Degree from Goodwin College. She also has several years of experience as a dental assistant prior to her attendance in hygiene school. She loves her family of loud and loving Italians and her fur babies: a 6 year old Husky and a 3 year old German Shepard. She also enjoys traveling to the Caribbean for her periods of relaxation.
Lauren graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island where she earned her Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and her Local Anesthesia License in 2015. Lauren has been part of the South County Smile’s team since 2012 originally working for Dr.DiSano as a dental assistant, then administrative work and now the Dental Hygiene team. Lauren is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Lauren has been married since 2013 and she enjoys shopping, going to the beach, traveling, running, having a good time and being with friends and family, especially her 3 children (Olivia, Matthew and Holden).
Kalia has been with Dr.DiSano for 5 years and attended Northampton Community College with her associates degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. Kalia is CPR and nitrous oxide certified and working towards an anesthesia certification. Her favorite thing to do while not working is to spend time with her husband and two young daughters. She also enjoys traveling around the world with her family, but is delighted to spend time in the kitchen with her husband and girls cooking a meal that they will enjoy together.
Kendra graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island and has her certifications in both Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, though she is currently practicing Dental Hygiene. Kendra is the recipient of the Dr. Joseph Yacovone award for Dental Assisting as she maintained the highest GPA within her program. Kendra loves helping patients feel at ease during dental appointments and building relationships with her patients. She is a true believer in the importance of education and serves the global community through an annual dental mission trip to Guatemala. Kendra enjoys running, hiking and yoga, as well as going to Patriot’s games and spending time with her friends and family. She is also the proud owner of 3 adorable cats.
