Losing teeth can be devastating, but patients at South County Smiles don’t need to lose hope. We offer several services to resolve these issues.
Even if you haven’t lost all the teeth in an arch, you can still enjoy the benefits of our dentures and fill in spaces from missing teeth in your mouth. Partial dentures are a great option for patients who have suffered from significant tooth loss.
Traditional dentures are crafted to help patients enjoy day to day activities, even if they’ve lost all of their natural teeth from decay or accident. Traditional dentures have beautiful, individually crafted teeth, are easy to wear and look natural. We make sure our dentures provide our patients with perfect occlusion and a reason to smile again.
Implant-supported dentures use four or six dental implants to secure dentures to your mouth. This provides a sturdier fit and minimized mobility in your denture without the use of adhesives and pastes.
You will remain confident while eating food and functioning normally.
Teeth-in-a-Day consists of 3 major phases: Diagnostic, Surgical and Restorative. This process is unique because all three of these phases can be completed in one visit! During the Diagnostic Phase, we will do a clinical assessment using several resources that may include photos, digital x-rays, a Cone Beam scan, impressions, a 3D Model of your dentition, and/or a thorough clinical evaluation. Following a complete assessment, a description and explanation of all options will be presented along with a detailed financial overview. Should the decision be made to proceed with Teeth-in-a-Day, The Surgery phase may begin or be scheduled to occur at an agreed upon time. During this visit, the required extractions, grafts and implants are administered. Patients depart the office on this day with removable, or implant secured, “temporary” teeth. Patients resume a full schedule of activities within 72 hours and will schedule their follow up visit to complete the third phase: The Restorative Phase. When the implants have fully integrated with the jawbone (approximately 3 to 4 months later), the temporary teeth are removed and the permanent teeth are secured!
